# Apex Endovascular

> Apex Endovascular is Northern Colorado’s first and only outpatient facility dedicated to minimally invasive image-guided therapies.

Board-certified vascular specialist Shawn Ahmed, MD, PhD, offers comprehensive vascular interventional care, wound care, and vascular health support in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Ahmed completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado Mesa University, and earned a doctorate in bio-organic chemistry and a medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine. He underwent advanced fellowship training in vascular interventional radiology through the Harvard School of Medicine and Massachusetts General Hospital. Apex Endovascular provides care using progressive techniques to treat conditions such as peripheral artery disease, knee pain, pelvic pain, deep vein thrombosis, and spinal compression fractures.

The practice works closely with wound care centers to perform minimally invasive procedures that restore blood flow, facilitate healing, and prevent amputation in patients with chronic leg wounds. Apex Endovascular focuses on increasing patient access to leading-edge interventional vascular treatments, offering safe, convenient, and affordable care without requiring hospitalization or lengthy recovery.
